"look mom, it's mine leg!"

a few of the beginning steps involved in making an afo.

we were in for a surprise! both of his legs got the special casting treatment. he will be getting 2 new AFOs, one for each leg. the pattern he chose was brown military (left leg) + green camo (right leg). next week he will be getting his gait analyzed at mcmaster university and this info will help the orthotist determine the style of AFO for each leg. after all that, we will go back to the prosthetics + orthotics department july 24th for his fitting. lots of time this summer for ozzie to get used to his new braces.
